Drum roll please. . . .

My friend sent me think link in an e-mail, and all I got to say about it is:

"Dear Santa,

If I'm really really SUPER good this year--could you please wrap up this little guy and give him to me for Christmas?  Complete with drum set, of course."

This kid is FOUR YEARS old and absolutely amazing.  Note the expressions on his little cherub face--especially towards the end when he spots his parents.  Can they bottle this talent and sell it, cuz I'm buyin'!

For the love of Pete! It's December already!

I know, I know. . . the month of November completely slipped by me!  (well actually I was so doggone busy that I forgot to blog--so I didn't completely blank out the month of November)

There was the exchanging of 'THE NECKLACE' which I will definitely make mention in some future post, and my 'need for Vitamin D get-away' to Arizona with a friend  and parties and Thanksgiving and. . . OK I'll stop boring you with the details  (until later of course!)

I will be back to blogging soon enough---but since November was CRAZY with activities and whatnot--and this month is proving to outdo the last one. . . I think I will share a cute little video that you can squeeze your little ones on your lap and watch on your monitors to get you in the spirit of things:

This little guy has GOT THE MOVES!

Since my grandsons are so obsessed with break dancing. . . (as well as my oldest son) I found this clip from the Ellen DeGeneres show that spotlights a tiny little break dancer who is just AMAZING!



And just for fun. . . (since I adore little people) here's the cutest little girl who can sing ALL 50 STATES in alphabetical order. . .

(do most Americans even KNOW all 50 states?)

Sam turns 5!

My oldest grandson recently celebrated his 5th birthday with a BIG BIRTHDAY BASH! He invited 6 of his 'best friends' over to his house and they had a great party with games and pizza, cake and ice cream, and prizes for all the kids that came.

I was really impressed with my daughter and her husband who decided to NOT make this party about Sam receiving more gifts from the kids that were invited. Rather, they taught him that birthday parties were for celebrating and having fun with the friends and NOT about getting presents from them. So none of the children brought gifts--but Sam and his 'buddies' had a ball.

G-Pa and youngest son and I got there after the festivities were wrapping up and the party revelers were leaving. That's when family and close friends came over to spoil him a bit and bring him some presents to open.

I made sure little Max got a gift too--so he wouldn't feel left out.




Sam's party was a BIG HIT and both boys were thrilled beyond belief! Max took everything in stride too--(including Sam's presents)




P.S. Sorry to my dear daughter, but I just HAD to snag these pictures of Sam and Max from her. They were just TOO CUTE! The 'try to eat a doughnut from a string with your hands behind your back game' was pretty exciting:






And I thought last year's Rocket Cake she made for Sam was pretty impressive--but this year's Blue Jet Fighter Cake was even more amazing. I love how it's lit:

A tale of two advertisments. . .

The Holidays AND my son's wedding are FINALLY OVER. . . WHEW!

And I actually have some photos to mark the happy events. . .

First I will present an adorable photo of my grandson, (whom I lovingly call Max) taken at my son's wedding.

He was really getting into the festivities and wanted to make his OWN memories and take pictures of the gala. . .So he did the only normal thing that he saw everyone else doing--putting a camera on his head and yelling: 'CHEESE!'
